Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes - 6.7L Diesel: Installation

  1. Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes and install the bolt to the transmission case.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  2. Connect the transmission fluid cooler tube assembly.

  3. Install the transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches.

  4. Position the side wire harness and install the nut.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  5. Position the transmission cooler tubes and install the nut.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  6. Using a new gasket, install the oil filter adapter, 4 bolts and stud bolt.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

  7. Position the engine wire harness at the oil filter adapter and install the nut.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  8. Connect the EOP switch and EOT sensor electrical connectors.

  9. Install a new oil filter.
  10. Top off the engine with the correct engine oil for the climate. For additional Information, refer to ENGINE - 6.7L DIESEL .
  11. Top off the transmission fluid and check for leaks.
