NOTE: This chart is only intended to diagnose an electric cooling fan that always runs with a cool engine and the A/C and defroster off.

SYSTEM/COMPONENT	REFERENCE ( PINPOINT TESTS unless noted)
Cooling Fan	For Edge, Explorer, Flex, Fusion, MKS, MKT, MKX, MKZ, and Taurus, GO to PINPOINT TEST KN . For all others, GO to PINPOINT TEST KF .
Cooling System	REFER to the appropriate Engine Cooling article. The Engine Overheats to diagnose the cooling system concern.
