DTC P007C: Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor Circuit Low (Bank 1)

P007C - CHARGE AIR COOLER TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1)

Description: This DTC sets when the temperature is greater than the calibrated value for the sensor or a short to ground is detected in the CACT circuit.
Possible Causes: Damaged turbocharger boost pressure (TCBP)/charge air cooler temperature (CACT) sensor CACT circuit short to ground VPWR circuit open Low airflow through the charge air cooler (CAC) Damaged harness connector Damaged harness
Diagnostic Aids: Check the harness for intermittent concerns, incorrect connections, routing, alterations and damage due to contact with other components. The TCBP/CACT sensor is a dual function pressure and temperature sensor located on the intake air tube between the CAC and the throttle body.
