Engine Mount: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to JACKING AND LIFTING for lifting points.
  2. Remove degas bottle. REFER to DEGAS BOTTLE .
  3. Remove the 3 twist-type retainers and remove the air duct from the subframe.

  4. NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan

    Position a floor jack with a block of wood under the front of the oil pan to support the engine.

  5. Remove the 4 engine mount nuts, the 3 engine mount bolts and the engine mount.
