Exhaust Flexible Pipe: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to JACKING AND LIFTING for lifting points.
  2. Loosen the Torca® clamp retainer.
    • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  3. NOTE: Do not damage or tear the isolator during removal.

    Using soapy water, detach the exhaust flexible pipe isolator.

  4. NOTE: Install a new gasket and 2 new nuts.

    Remove the flexible pipe and discard the 2 nuts and gasket.

    • Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
