Pinpoint Test

  1. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs  FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
    1. Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.

    Are any DTCs recorded? 

    1. Yes: REFER to DTC Chart: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .
    2. No: GO to .
  2. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs  FROM THE ATCM SELF-TEST
    1. Using a scan tool, perform the ATCM self-test.

    Are any DTCs recorded? 

    1. Yes: REFER to DTC CHART: ALL TERRAIN CONTROL MODULE (ATCM) .
    2. No: GO to .
  3. CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
    1. On the optional IPC, in the display mode menu, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right to display the AWD gauge.
    2. On the base IPC, in the Information display mode, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the AWD gauge.

    Does the all terrain indicator display next to the AWD gauge? 

    1. Yes: The all terrain display is operating correctly at this time. The display was not set to the correct display mode.
    2. No: INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .
