Front Disc Brake: Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. REFER to WHEEL AND TIRE .
  2. NOTE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose or damage to the hose may occur.

    Remove and discard the 2 anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.

    • Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.
  3. Remove and discard the brake disc screw.
  4. Thread a M10 bolt into the brake disc removal hole and tighten to press the disc off the hub.
