Pinpoint Test

1. Ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect: LH Front Window Control Switch C535B.
3. Measure:

   LH Front Window Control Switch			Ground
   C535B			Ground
   Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
   1	GD233 (BK)		-	Ground

Is the resistance less than 3 ohms? 

• Yes: GO to 2  .
• No: REPAIR the circuit.

1. Ignition ON.
2. To check upward window operation, connect fused jumper wires:

   LH Front Window Control Switch			LH Front Window Control Switch
   C535B			C535B
   Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
   3	CBP01 (BU)		4	CPW11 (BU/GY)
   2	CPW10 (YE/VT)		1	GD233 (BK)

3. To check downward window operation, connect fused jumper wires:

   LH Front Window Control Switch			LH Front Window Control Switch
   C535B			C535B
   Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
   3	CBP01 (BU)		2	CPW10 (YE/VT)
   4	CPW11 (BU/GY)		1	GD233 (BK)

Does the window move up and/or down? 

• Yes: INSTALL a new LH front window control switch. REFER to Window Control Switch .
• No: GO to 3  .

1. Ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect: LH Front Window Motor.
3. Measure:

   LH Front Window Motor			LH Front Window Control Switch
   C540			C535B
   Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
   1	CPW11 (BU/GY)		4	CPW11 (BU/GY)
   2	CPW10 (YE/VT)		2	CPW10 (YE/VT)

Are the resistances less than 3 ohms? 

• Yes: INSTALL a new LH front window motor. REFER to Window Regulator Motor - Front Door .
• No: REPAIR the affected circuit.
