Seat Latch - Power: Removal

NOTE: For component identification and locations, REFER to Seat - Exploded View .
    NOTE: If equipped with inoperative power seat, REFER to Manual Override of Inoperative Power Seat - 3rd Row .
  1. Position the affected seat to the load floor position.
  2. NOTE: If equipped with a power seat, do not lift the load floor flapper panels too far or damage to the wire harness retainers will occur.

  3. Separate the 2 load floor supports (1 shown in illustaration).
    • Push the load floor support rearward and slightly lift the load floor to disengage.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wire harness retainers.

  5. Fold both load floor flapper panels back.
  6. On the side of the power seat latch to be installed new, remove the 2 load floor panel screws at the back of the cushion.
  7. Pull out to release the retainers and remove the load floor panel.
    • Detach the wire harness retainers and disconnect the electrical connectors to allow for load floor removal on the side of the power seat latch to be serviced.
  8. Remove the screw, release the tab and remove the latch cover.
  9. Release the cushion cover retainers from the cushion frame enough to access the power seat latch retainers and electrical connectors.

  10. Remove the power seat latch in the following sequence.
    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
