Pinpoint Test

1. Using a scan tool, perform the network test.

Does the RFA module and BCM pass the network test? 

• Yes: GO to 2  .
• No:

  REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE I : The Body Control Module (BCM) Does Not Respond To The Scan Too, l or

  REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE Z : The Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.

1. Disconnect: Suspect Door Lock Control Switch.
2. Carry out the door lock control switch component test.
3. Refer to the OEM Wiring Diagrams - COMPONENT TESTING for schematic and connector information.

Does the door lock control switch pass the component test? 

• Yes: REPAIR the door lock control switch ground circuit in question for an open.
• No: INSTALL a new door lock control switch. REFER to Door Lock Control Switch .
