      G08037552
      - Ground

Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

    1. Yes: REPAIR the PATS transceiver ground circuit for an open.
    2. No: VERIFY the BCM fuse 18 (10A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit for an open. If not OK, REFER to the appropriate wiring diagrams to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. REFER to OEM FUSE AND RELAY INFORMATION and OEM WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  4. CHECK THE PATS TRANSCEIVER CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect: BCM C2280B.
    3. Ignition ON.
    4. Measure:
      PATS Transceiver Ground
      G08037553
      G08037554
      C252 Ground
Pin Circuit Measurement / Action Pin Circuit

Are the resistances less than 3 ohms?

    1. Yes: INSTALL a new PATS transceiver. REFER to Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver . CLEAR the DTCs  . REPEAT the BCM self-test. If DTC B10D9:87 is retrieved again, GO to .
    2. No: REPAIR the affected circuit.
  7. CHECK FOR CORRECT BCM OPERATION
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect and inspect all BCM connectors.
    3. Repair:
      • corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
      • damaged or bent pins - install new terminals/pins
      • pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
    4. Reconnect all the BCM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.
    5. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.

    Is the concern still present?

    1. Yes: CHECK OASIS  for any applicable TSBs  . If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW TSB instructions. If no TSBs  address this concern, INSTALL a new BCM. REFER to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - WITHOUT INTELLIGENT ACCESS (IA) .
    2. No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
