  1. CHECK THE RECORDED DTCs  FROM THE BCM SELF-TEST
    1. Ignition ON.
    2. Using a scan tool, perform the BCM on-demand self-test.

    Is DTC B1D35:11 present?

    • Yes: GO to .
    • No: GO to  4.
  2. ISOLATE THE FCIM AS THE CAUSE OF DTC B1D35:11
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect: FCIM.
    3. Ignition ON.
    4. Using a scan tool, perform BCM on-demand self-test.

    Is DTC B1D35:11 still present?

    • Yes: GO to .
    • No: GO to  6.
  3. CHECK THE HAZARD LAMP REQUEST INPUT CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect: BCM C2280B.
    3. Measure:
      FCIM Ground
      G08036663
      G08036664
      C2402 Ground
Pin Circuit Measurement / Action Pin Circuit
      4 CLS32 (BN/YE)

Is the resistance less than 3 ohms?

    • Yes: GO to  7.
    • No: REPAIR the circuit.
  6. CHECK FOR CORRECT FCIM OPERATION
    1. Disconnect and inspect all FCIM connectors.
    2. Repair:
      • corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
      • damaged or bent pins - install new terminals/pins
      • pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
    3. Reconnect the FCIM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.

    Is the concern still present?

    • Yes: CHECK OASIS  for any applicable TSBs  . If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW TSB instructions. If no TSBs  address this concern, INSTALL a new FCIM. REFER to FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM) - (Premium).
    • No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
  7. CHECK FOR CORRECT BCM OPERATION
    1. Disconnect and inspect all BCM connectors.
    2. Repair:
      • corrosion (install new connector or terminals - clean module pins)
      • damaged or bent pins - install new terminals/pins
      • pushed-out pins - install new pins as necessary
    3. Reconnect the BCM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.
    4. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
