Pinpoint Test

1. Using a scan tool, perform a network test.

Do the SOD-L and SOD-R pass the network test? 

• Yes: GO to 2  .
• No: For SOD-L  , REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE V : The Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left (SOD-L) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.

  For SOD-R  , REFER to Diagnostic Routine E: The SOD-R Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool Or Cannot Be Configured .

1. Using a scan tool, perform the BCM self-test.
2. Check for DTCs  in the BCM.

Are any vehicle speed or PRNDL related DTCs present? 

• Yes: REFER to DTC CHART: BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) .
• No: GO to 3  .

1. Using a scan tool, perform the PAM self-test.

Are DTCs present? 

• Yes: REFER to DTC CHART: PARKING AID MODULE (PAM) .
• No: For a BLIS® fault, REFER to Diagnostic Routine A : The Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) Is Inoperative Or Does Not Operate Correctly.

  For a CTA system fault, REFER to Diagnostic Routine B : The Cross-Traffic Alert (CTA) System Is Inoperative Or Does Not Operate Correctly.
