Pinpoint Test
- REVIEW THE DTCs
- Review the DTCs from the BCM self-test.
Are any other DTCs present besides U1000:00 or U3000:49?
- Yes: REFER to DTC Chart: Body Control Module (BCM) .
- No: GO to 2 .
- REPEAT THE BCM SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a scan tool, clear the DTCs and repeat the BCM self-test.
Is DTC U3000:49 present?
- Yes: INSTALL a new BCM. REFER to Body Control Module (BCM) - with Intelligent Access (IA) or REFER to Body Control Module (BCM) - without Intelligent Access (IA) .
- No: The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
