Thermostat Housing - 2.0L GTDI

Removal and Installation

NOTE: The thermostat and thermostat housing are replaced as an assembly.

1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding Service and Repair.

2. Release the 2 clamps and disconnect the 2 coolant hoses.





3. Remove the 3 bolts and the thermostat housing.
- Inspect the gasket and install a new gasket if necessary.

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
