Hydraulic Lash Adjuster





Removal

1. Remove the camshaft roller followers. For additional information, refer to Camshaft Roller Follower Camshaft Roller Follower.

2. NOTICE: The hydraulic lash adjusters must be installed in their original locations. Record the hydraulic lash adjuster locations. Failure to follow these instructions may result in engine damage.

Remove the 8 hydraulic lash adjusters.






Installation

1. NOTICE: The hydraulic lash adjusters must be installed in their original locations. Failure to follow these instructions may result in engine damage.

NOTE: Lubricate the hydraulic lash adjusters with clean engine oil prior to installation.

Install the hydraulic lash adjusters in their original locations.






2. Install the camshaft roller followers. For additional information, refer to Camshaft Roller Follower Camshaft Roller Follower.
