Removal and Installation

1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to Wheels and Tires Removal and Replacement.

2. NOTICE: Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.

Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.

- Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.

- To install, tighten the bolts to 133 Nm (98 lb-ft).

3. If equipped, remove the brake disc retaining washer.
- Remove the brake disc.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply brakes several times to verify correct brake operation.
