Seat Cushion - Front, Massage: Removal

  1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT  in this service information.
  2. From the front of the seat, detach the wire harness retainer and disconnect the seat control switch electrical connectors.

  3. NOTE: Note hose routing for correct installation.

  4. Detach the carpet flap toe-kick retainers from under the seat.
  5. Remove the cushion side shield.
    1. Remove the screw at the back.
    2. Remove the scrivet at the back.
    3. Remove the screw at the front.
    4. Pull out at the side to release the 3 clip retainers.
    5. Slide down, separate the hook and remove the cushion side shield.
    6. Disconnect the memory SET switch electrical connector (if equipped).

  6. Separate the hoses.
    • Push the 4 release buttons in and disconnect the 4 hoses.
    • Detach the hose retainer.

  7. Detach the cushion cover J-clips at the front and outboard sides.
  8. Position the cushion foam pad away and detach the cushion massage pin-type retainers.

  9. Route the cushion massage assembly hoses through the cushion support wires and remove the assembly.
