IPC Prove-Out

The IPC carries out a display prove-out to verify that all module controlled warning/indicator lamps and monitored systems are functioning correctly within the IPC. When the ignition is in the ON mode with the engine off, the indicators illuminate to prove-out according the following table:

Air bag Warning 6 seconds
ABS Warning 3 seconds
Anti-theft indicator Informational 3 seconds
Adaptive cruise speed control Informational No prove-out
Brake Warning 3 seconds
Cruise control Informational No prove-out
Grade assist Informational No prove-out
High beam Informational No prove-out
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Warning Engine startup
RH/LH turn signals Informational No prove-out
Safety belt Warning 65 seconds if the safety belt is unbuckled, turns off when the safety belt is buckled
Traction control disabled Informational 3 seconds
Traction control Informational 3 seconds
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Warning 3 seconds
Traction control Informational 3 seconds
