Pinpoint Test B: All Passenger Power Windows Are Inoperative - Se, SEL

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) from the Flex Probe Kit when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
  1. B1 CHECK PASSENGER WINDOW OPERATION FROM THE LH FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH 
    NOTE: Make sure the LH front window control switch is in the UNLOCK position.
    • Ignition ON.
    • Attempt to operate the passenger windows from the LH front window control switch.
    • Do the passenger windows operate from the LH front window control switch? 
    • Yes  : GO to B2.
    • No  : VERIFY Smart Junction Box (SJB) circuit breaker 47 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR circuit CBP47 (GN/BU) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation. If not OK, REFER to the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS Article to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. B2 CHECK THE LH FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH 
    • Ignition OFF.
    • Disconnect: LH Front Window Control Switch C504.
    • Carry out the LH front window control switch component test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING Article for component testing.
    • Did the LH front window control switch pass the component test? 
    • Yes  : REPAIR open in circuit CPW14 (VT/WH). TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : INSTALL a new LH front window control switch. REFER to WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH  . TEST the system for normal operation.
