Removal and Installation

1. Remove the retainers and pull back the LH luggage compartment trim panel.

2. For vehicles with Sony(R) sound, remove the audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module. For additional information, refer to Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Module Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Module.

3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

4. NOTE: For vehicles with Sony(R) sound, the audio amplifier bolt is removed when the audio DSP module is removed.

Remove the audio amplifier.

1. Remove the audio amplifier bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

2. Remove the 2 audio amplifier nuts.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
