Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch

Removal and Installation









1. NOTE: The Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch is located behind the RH cowl panel.

Remove the RH scuff plate and cowl panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View.

2. Remove the 2 screws and the IFS switch.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

3. Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
