Removal and Installation

1. Remove the 6 (Fusion)/2 (Milan/MKZ) radiator grille pin-type retainers and the 4 radiator grille bolts.

2. For MKZ, disconnect the secondary hood latch release cable from the hood latch.

3. NOTE: Pull up on the radiator grille to gain access to the hood latch.

NOTE: Mark the hood latch position prior to removal of the hood latch bolts.

Remove the 2 hood latch bolts and position the hood latch aside.

- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

4. Disconnect the hood latch release cable and remove the hood latch.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
