DTC P2118: Throttle Actuator A Control Motor Current Range/Performance

P2118 - THROTTLE ACTUATOR A CONTROL MOTOR CURRENT RANGE/PERFORMANCE

Description:	The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the electronic throttle control (ETC) operation for a high current condition. This DTC sets if the current necessary to operate the throttle actuator control (TAC) motor is higher than a calibrated limit.
Possible Causes:	TAC motor is damaged TAC motor harness circuits are short together Obstruction in the throttle plate movement

Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
All	GO to PINPOINT TEST DV .
