- VERIFY that the message center display mode is turned on, then carry out the IC
self-diagnostic test to illuminate all segments of the message center display.
- If the message center display is illuminated, the system is working correctly at this time.
- If the message center display is inoperative, go to PINPOINT TEST A .

- The SERVICE ADVANCETRAC® warning is inoperative/always on
|

- The XXX% OIL LIFE OIL LIFE OK, OIL CHANGE REQUIRED, OIL LIFE XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW or OIL LIFE SET TO XXX% message is inoperative

- Using the system check in the message center, VERIFY that the oil life is between 0 and 10% for the OIL CHANGE SOON message or at 0% for the OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message.
- If the oil life is between 0% and 10%, INSTALL a new IC
. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) in this information. TEST the system for normal operation.
- If the oil life is not between 0% and 10%, the message center is operating correctly. INFORM the customer how the message center functions and how the oil life messages are set.

- The WASHER FLUID LEVEL LOW warning is inoperative/always on

display is 120 km (75 miles) (with a MyKey™ programmed key) or 80 km (50 miles) (with an administrator key) to empty or less.
- If the odometer or fuel gauge do not operate correctly, go to PINPOINT TEST G (odometer), go to PINPOINT TEST B (fuel gauge) or go to PINPOINT TEST F (speedometer).
- If the DTE
display is above 120 km (75 miles) (with a MyKey™ programmed key) or 80 km (50 miles) (with an administrator key) to empty, the system is operating correctly. The low fuel warning is turned on when the DTE
display is 120 km (75 miles) (with a MyKey™ programmed key) or 80 km (50 miles) (with an administrator key) to empty or less.
