Service AdvanceTrac® Warning Chime

The service AdvanceTrac® warning chime warns that the ABS module has detected a fault condition in the AdvanceTrac® system. The SERVICE ADVANCETRAC® message is also displayed along with the chime.

The service AdvanceTrac® chime sounds for approximately 2 seconds after an initial delay of 8 seconds following key ON. The AdvanceTrac® chime stops sounding when the ignition switch is turned from the RUN/START position to the OFF/LOCK or ACC position or when the fault condition is repaired.

The service AdvanceTrac® warning chime inputs are:

• Ignition switch RUN/START status.
• Service AdvanceTrac® warning chime request communicated by the ABS module to the IC  through the HS-CAN  .
