Exhaust Flexible Pipe - RH

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the 2 RH exhaust flexible pipe-to-underbody catalytic converter nuts.
- Discard the nuts.

3. Remove the 2 RH exhaust flexible pipe-to-RH catalytic converter bolts.
- Discard the bolts.

4. Separate the RH exhaust flexible pipe from the RH and underbody catalytic converters.
- Remove the RH exhaust flexible pipe.

- Discard the gaskets.

Installation

1. Install the RH exhaust flexible pipe with new gaskets and fasteners.
- Hand-tighten all fasteners.

2. Tighten the RH exhaust flexible pipe-to-underbody catalytic converter nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. Tighten the RH exhaust flexible pipe-to-RH catalytic converter bolts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
