Input Shaft Speed Sensor - No. 1: Installation

Inspect the input shaft speed sensor and transaxle bore. Clean, repair and/or replace as needed.

Install the input shaft speed sensor.
NOTE: Be sure to use the 3.5 mm (0.137 in) input shaft speed sensor shim on input shaft speed sensor 1 or damage can occur.

NOTE: If installing the old input shaft speed sensor, install a new O-ring.

NOTE: Use a small amount of transmission fluid on the input shaft speed sensor O-ring for installation.
1. Install the input shaft speed sensor shim.
2. Install the input shaft speed sensor.
3. Install the input shaft speed sensor bolt.
  - Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Connect the input shaft speed sensor electrical connector.
