Removal And Installation: Differential: Disassembly

  1. A Using the special tools, remove and discard the differential bearings.
    NOTE: Take care not to damage the differential impulse ring.

  2. Using a 1500W heat gun, slightly heat the impulse ring. Remove the impulse ring.
  3. Remove and discard the differential ring gear bolts. Lightly tap the ring gear to separate it from the differential case.
  4. Clean all parts in clean solvent and dry with compressed air.
