Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT)

The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system uses an Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT). The Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) incorporates both the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) functions into a single device. The factory installed remote start (if equipped), is controlled by the Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) function and allows the engine to be started from outside the vehicle. The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) functions controls the door Lock/Unlock features.
