Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

The Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) contains the solenoid valves, the hydraulic pump motor and the pressure sensor used by the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) for the various vehicle dynamic systems. The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module and the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) are attached directly together. On vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control, the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module and Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) are serviced as an assembly.
