Gateway Function

The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) acts as a gateway module by receiving information in one format and transmitting it to the audio and multimedia modules using another format. This enables network communication between modules that do not communicate using the same network (Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) or Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN)).
