SYMPTOM CHART - WARNING CHIMES

The door ajar warning chime is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Body Control Module (BCM) Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	OBSERVE the door ajar message center warning indicator. If the door ajar message center warning indicator does not operate correctly, REFER to Diagnostic Routine AC . If the door ajar message center warning indicator operates correctly, INSTALL a new Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
The parking brake warning chime is inoperative	Brake warning indication concern Body Control Module (BCM) Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	REFER to Diagnostic Routine AQ .
The perimeter alarm chime is inoperative	Perimeter alarm concern Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	VERIFY the key-in-ignition warning chime functions correctly. If the key-in-ignition warning chime does not function correctly, REFER to Diagnostic Routine AL . If the key-in-ignition warning chime functions correctly, REFER to SYMPTOM CHART: ANTI-THEFT - PERIMETER .
The turn signal on warning chime is inoperative	Exterior lighting concern Body Control Module (BCM) Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	REFER to Diagnostic Routine AO .
The air bag secondary warning chime is inoperative or has activated	Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)	RETRIEVE the recorded Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the self-test. If the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1534:01 is not present, the system is operating correctly. The air bag secondary warning chime sounds only when a fault in the air bag warning indicator is present and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1534:01 is recorded. If the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1534:01 is present, INSTALL a new Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
