Drain the Motor Electronics Cooling System (MECS). For additional information, refer to MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING in this service information.
Disconnect the MECS inlet and outlet hoses.
- Disconnect the harness connector.

Remove the MECS coolant pump bolts and the MECS coolant pump.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
