Pinpoint Test AK: The REGEN Braking Disabled Message Is Inoperative/Always On (Hybrid)

  1. AK1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST 
    • Check for recorded PCM DTCs from the Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) self-test.
    • Are any PCM DTCs recorded? 
    • Yes:  REFER to the INTRODUCTION article.
    • No:  GO to AK2  .
  2. AK2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IC SELF-TEST 
    • Check for recorded IC  DTCs from the self-test.
    • Are any IC DTCs recorded? 
    • Yes:  For DTC U0100, GO to PINPOINT TEST AV .

      For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC CHARTS  in this service information.

    • No:  INSTALL a new IC  . REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC)  in this service information. TEST the system for normal operation.
