Parking Brake Cable - Front









Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the parking brake control. For additional information, refer to Parking Brake Control Service and Repair.

3. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Service and Repair.

4. Remove the driver side front seat. For additional information, refer to Seating Seat - Front.

5. Remove the 3 front parking brake cable bracket bolts.
- To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).

6. Disconnect the front parking brake cable from the RR parking brake cable connector by releasing the locking tab.





7. Disconnect the front parking brake cable conduit from the LR parking brake cable.





8. Release the front parking brake cable pass-through grommet from the vehicle underbody.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
