Bumper Cover - Rear

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .

Remove the 8 upper rear bumper cover pin-type retainers (6 on Edge).
Remove the 2 upper rear bumper cover bolts.

Remove the 12 screws (6 each side) from the rear wheel splash shields.

Remove the rear bumper cover-to-body brace screw.

Disconnect the trailer hitch and parking aid system wiring harness, if equipped.

Remove the rear bumper cover.
- Remove the bumper cover from the bumper cover bracket.
- Remove the bumper cover.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer parts as necessary.
