Roof Opening Panel Shade

The roof opening panel assembly uses an integrated motor and module to operate the roof opening panel shades and sliding glass panel. The roof opening panel control switch supplies ground signal(s) to the roof opening sliding glass panel motor to request the selected mode of operation. The roof opening sliding glass panel motor acts as a master controller for the shade motor. For additional information about power shade operation, refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL .

Initialize the roof opening panel motors when one of the following occurs:

• The drive system has been replaced or removed
• Excessive false stalls are encountered
• The shade(s) are removed or replaced
• The shade motor becomes de-initialized (will stutter step open)
• The sliding glass panel is removed
• The sliding glass motor becomes de-initialized (will stutter step open and have no express operation)
