Hardwired Inputs

The IPC  requires hardwired inputs from components that are not hardwired to other modules and, therefore, are not on either the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) or the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) but are required for specific IPC  functions or gateway requirements. The hardwired inputs are provided by the following components:

• Fuel pump module
• Fuel level sensor (optional dual sender saddle-type tank only)
• HS-CAN 
• Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN)
• Park detect switch (part of the floor shifter assembly)
• Washer fluid level switch
