Scuff Plate Trim Panel - Front

Removal

1. Lift the front door scuff plate trim panel straight up on the rear edge of the scuff plate trim panel to release the 2 lower retainers.





2. Disconnect the scuff plate electrical connector and then lift the scuff plate trim panel rearward.

3. NOTICE: To avoid any damage to the scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body prior to installation.

NOTE: The front door scuff plate trim panel retaining clips are a one-time use clip.
Remove and discard the front door scuff plate trim panel retaining clips by releasing the retaining clip metal tabs.






4. NOTE: Place the new retaining clips onto the front door scuff plate trim panel prior to installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Install new retaining clips.
