GEM Service Mode Chime

The GEM  service mode chime is used to provide confirmation or to alert a technician that the service mode has been entered/exited or to confirm that a tested input has been activated. The GEM  provides a chime request to the IC  over the MS-CAN  .

The GEM  service mode chime inputs are the:

• Ignition RUN status.
• GEM  service mode status communicated by the GEM  to the IC  over the MS-CAN  .
