Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair




Brake Shift Interlock Actuator









Removal

1. Remove the front floor console. For additional information, refer to Instrument Cluster / Carrier &/or Interior Moulding / Trim.

2. Disconnect the Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) electrical connector.





3. Remove the screw and the BSIA.





Installation

1. Install the BSIA and the screw.





2. Connect the BSIA electrical connector.





3. Install the front floor console. For additional information, refer to Instrument Cluster / Carrier &/or Interior Moulding / Trim.
