Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch









Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: The front passenger door frame scuff plate is retained only by internal metal clips.

Remove the front passenger door frame scuff plate.

2. NOTE: The front passenger door side interior kick panel is retained only by internal metal clips.

NOTE: It may be necessary to reposition the lower end of the door jam weather stripping to remove the front passenger door side interior kick panel.

Remove the front passenger side interior kick panel.

3. Disconnect the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch electrical connector.

4. Remove the 2 bolts and the IFS switch.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
