Removal And Installation

- Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube-to-PCV valve quick connect coupling. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
- Disconnect the PCV valve electrical connector.
- Rotate the PCV valve and remove.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
CAUTION:
A new positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve must be installed if removed. During removal, the plastic retaining ears of the PCV valve are sheared.
