Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube-to-PCV valve quick connect coupling. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
  2. Disconnect the PCV valve electrical connector.
  3. CAUTION: A new positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve must be installed if removed. During removal, the plastic retaining ears of the PCV valve are sheared.
  4. Rotate the PCV valve and remove.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
