Pinpoint Test V: The SPOTLAMP Is Inoperative/Always On

- V1 DETERMINE IF THE SPOTLAMP IS ALWAYS ON
- Key in OFF position.
- Observe the spotlamp while turning the switch to the ON and OFF positions.
- Is the spotlamp always illuminated?
- V2 CHECK CIRCUIT 931 (OG) FOR AN OPEN
- Disconnect: Inoperative Spotlamp
- Measure the voltage between the LH spotlamp C2205-1, circuit 931 (OG), harness side and ground; or between the RH spotlamp C2206-1, circuit 931 (OG), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- YES : INSTALL a new spotlamp. REFER to Spotlamp . TEST the system for normal operation.
- NO : VERIFY the BJB fuse 2 (20A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
