Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the camshaft roller followers. For additional information, refer to Camshaft Roller Follower .
    2. NOTE: Mark the position of the hydraulic lash adjusters so they can be installed in their original positions.
  2. Remove the hydraulic lash adjusters.
    3. NOTE: The hydraulic lash adjusters must be installed in their original positions.
    NOTE: Lubricate the hydraulic lash adjusters with clean engine oil.
  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
