Normal Operation

The Smart Junction Box (SJB) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) voltage to the dimmable components through circuit VLN04 (VT/GY). Ground is provided through circuits GD114 (BK/BU), GD116 (BK/VT) and GD149 (BK/GY).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• Wiring, terminals or connectors
• Ambient lighting switch (if equipped)
• Clock (if equipped)
• Center stack switch assembly
• Floor shifter
• Headlamp switch
• Message center switch
• Power liftgate switch (if equipped)
• Liftgate release switch
• Auxiliary climate control switches (if equipped)
