Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Vacuum Regulator Solenoid - 4.0L SOHC

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the electrical and vacuum connectors from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator solenoid.
  3. Remove the retaining bolts and the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
