  • The safety belt warning chime does not operate

  • Excessive pressure on the occupant during normal wear, the webbing cannot be extracted, excessive slack in webbing does not retract
  • Front safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the component Functional Test in this article. INSTALL a new retractor if necessary.
  • The Belt-Minder® feature is inoperative
  • Belt-Minder® feature is deactivated
  • Circuitry
  • REFER to WARNING DEVICES article or the Seating and Safety Restraints section of the Owner's Literature to activate the Belt-Minder® feature. If the Belt-Minder® is activated, REFER to WARNING DEVICES article to diagnose.
