- Remove the affected seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front in this article.
- Remove the seat backrest assembly. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, Bucket and 40 Percent , or Seat Backrest - Front, 60 Percent in this article.
- Release the trim cover rear J-clip from the seat cushion.
- Remove the 4 seat track-to-cushion frame bolts and remove the seat track assembly from the cushion frame.
- Release the J-clips.
- For 60 percent seat, release the side foam pad retainer strap.
- Remove all rows of hog rings and remove the cushion trim cover.
CAUTION:
An occupant classification sensor (OCS) service kit will have the OCS bladder attached to the seat cushion foam pad. DO not separate the OCS bladder from the seat cushion foam pad. Failure to follow these instructions may result in incorrect operation of the OCS system and may cause system failure.
NOTE:
Driver 40 percent seat shown, passenger and driver 60 percent seat similar.
